This organization delivers innovative digital modernization and mission-critical capabilities that protect national interests.The Role Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data systems and pipelines to ingest, process, and transform complex data for analytics and reporting Unify and integrate data from multiple network operations systems into a consistent, accessible platform, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and security Implement solutions using Confluent Kafka, Elastic Stack, AWS, and Red Hat OpenShift (Kubernetes) to support critical network operations Develop and manage data warehouses and data lakes, optimizing infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness Automate data-related tasks such as ETL/ELT processes, data validation, cleansing, and monitoring, supporting CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with analysts, visualization engineers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated, actionable data solutions and document architecturesWhat You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and integrating disparate data sources Proficiency with data engineering tools and languages such as Python, Java, SQL, and shell scripting Experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and/or Kafka for data ingestion and processing Familiarity with network operations data (logs, metrics, events, ticketing, CMDB) and related data models Ability to obtain interim Secret DoD Security clearance prior to start and Security+ certification within 14 days of startWhat's On Offer Opportunity to work on mission-critical national security programs Engage with cutting-edge technologies like Elastic Stack, Kafka, and AWS Collaborative and fast-paced Agile development environment Support for professional development including security certificationsApply via Haystack today!
