The Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in sourcing and executing mineral, royalty, and non-op working interest acquisitions across active U.S. basins. Responsibilities include identifying acquisition opportunities, conducting market and basin-level research, managing deal pipelines, and analyzing data to support investment decisions. The role works closely with the land, engineering, finance, and leadership teams, as well as external partners, brokers, and sellers, to execute acquisitions aligned with Pheasant's strategic goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and evaluate mineral, royalty, and non-op working interest acquisition opportunities across target basinsConduct market research, competitive analysis, and basin-level trend assessments to inform acquisition strategyBuild and maintain a structured deal pipeline, tracking opportunities from initial outreach through closePerform valuation analysis and financial modeling to support bid decisionsCoordinate due diligence across title, engineering, financial, and legal workstreamsCollaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with external partners, brokers, and counterpartiesSupport negotiation and closing processes, ensuring alignment with strategic and return objectives
