THIS POSITION IS BASED IN KLK OLEO AMERICAS INC., located in Woodbury, New York.Job SummaryThe Logistics Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the supply chain by coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.Role and ResponsibilitiesAssist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipmentsTrack orders and ensure timely delivery to customers or internal departmentsCommunicate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse staff to resolve issuesPrepare shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and delivery ordersMonitor warehouse stock levels and ensure re-stock shipment are sent from the plant to the USAssist with vetting new Forwarders or 3PLs for onboardingAssist in getting new customer setup in SAPJob Success RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred)Previous experience in logistics or Supply Chain is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Outlook) Understanding of SAP and how to navigate the systemStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasksBenefitsCompetitive salary and option for a 401KHealth InsurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for growth and development
