HR Specialist

HR Specialist Position Type: Full Time Job Classification: Salary Reports To: Chief Operating Officer Location: Irving, TX What to Expect We are seeking a driven and energetic HR Specialist who excels in strategic planning, conflict resolution, effective communication, who understands labor laws and regulations, and has the ability to guide change effectively. You will serve as the HR liaison for multiple clients as well as assist internal HR for Dynamic Support Solutions. You will support the development of best practices and be a staunch advocate for process improvements internally and externally. As HR Specialist, you will help cultivate a happy and productive workplace where everyone feels valued while helping fulfill the organization’s mission. What You’ll Do As HR Specialist you will: Assist with recruitment, training, and onboarding Review and support employee retention plans Support and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment law Assist with planning and enforcing employee evaluations and performance appraisals Assist with strategy on adoption processes and navigation of change management scenarios Act as a direct liaison between clients and DSS HR management. Support and assist managers on discipline and employee terminations Support the administration of HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, investigations, performance management, and training and development Contribute to scope of work development for new and existing customers Contribute to and assist with regular reports to Executive management on progress of HR practices Be knowledgeable of short and long term risks related to HR Regularly coordinate with internal and external staff to ensure practices are aligned with HR procedures and Texas employment laws What You’ll Bring 2+ years of experience in HR Strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Texas employment laws Ability to learn multiple HRIS and ERP systems Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred Compensation and Benefits Benefits Salary range $55,000 - $75,000 Medical PPO, HMO, and HSA plans with employer contributions Dental and vision plans Simple IRA with 3% employer match Company paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance 80 hours of paid time off and paid holidays Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
