PHP Developer

Role: Web Developer (PHP)Location: North Chesterfield, VA (Onsite)Duration: 12 Months Note: Client is requesting to submit resume of the only candidate who can come for in-person interview. This position will be responsible for:Working across the full stack, building, maintaining and optimizing scalable, distributed features and solutions that enable positive user experiences across desktop and mobileDeveloping new features in support of business and project requirementsManaging vendor support as needed for maintenance and enhancementWorking with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities Requirements:Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in information sciences, computer science, or a related field; considerable software implementation experienceProficiency in PHPUnderstanding of WordPress architectureUnderstanding of SQLUnderstanding of REST APIAbility to work as team member on web development projects end-to-endProven knowledge of back-end/infrastructure maintenance and optimization and UX/UI principlesKnowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptKnowledge of secure coding practicesOutstanding communication skills
