Role Description This is a hybrid contract role for an Associate Voice Teacher, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with some work-from-home flexibility. Responsibilities include conducting private voice lessons and vocal coaching sessions, tailoring instruction to individual student needs and goals. The role also involves teaching music theory and supporting students in building their technical and artistic skills while fostering their confidence. The Associate Voice Teacher will work closely with the SHL Voice & Coaching Studio team to maintain a high standard of music education. Qualifications Experience in Vocal Coaching and providing Voice LessonsProficiency in Vocal Instruction and Music EducationKnowledge of Music Theory and its application in voice teachingStrong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students of varying ages and levelsAbility to adapt teaching methods to align with individual student goalsPassion for music education and fostering artistic expressionDegree in Music, Voice Performance, or a related field is highly preferredPrior performance experience is a plus
