Creative Experience Development Assistant Location: Hybrid (Oakland & San Francisco Bay Area) Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time (25–35 hours/week) Compensation: $20–22/hour DOE Reports To: Executive Director Job Overview At Maker Studio Kidz and Letz Make Experiences, we're always creating what's next. We're looking for a creative, organized, and curious Creative Experience Development Assistant to help transform ideas into engaging hands-on experiences. From youth camps and educational programs to corporate workshops and community events, you'll help design, test, and prepare experiences that inspire creativity, learning, and connection. As a growing startup, you'll work closely with our leadership team to bring new ideas to life. Responsibilities Help design and develop camps, classes, workshops, and experiential events. Brainstorm, prototype, and test new projects, products, and creative experiences. Research trends, materials, and techniques to inspire new program ideas. Create lesson plans, facilitator guides, worksheets, and instructional resources. Prepare supply lists, material estimates, and production notes. Photograph and document projects for training and marketing. Assist with staff training and workshop demonstrations. Facilitate select workshops, camps, and events to support program quality. Gather feedback and recommend improvements to programs and guest experiences. Collaborate with the team on special projects and new creative initiatives. Qualifications Experience in arts education, creative programming, events, design, youth development, or a related field. Passion for creativity, hands-on learning, and experience design. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with a variety of art, craft, sewing, and maker materials. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Experience with Google Workspace and Canva; Notion is a plus.
