Parx Home Health Care is looking for a Occupational Therapist to join our team. The home health therapist will be responsible for providing high quality and coordinated care to patients in their homes and communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health care, an understanding of state and federal regulations, and a passion for helping patients live their best lives.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans for each client, tailored to their specific needs and goalsEvaluate and treat clients with physical and cognitive limitations to help them improve their daily living skills, range of motion, strength, and balanceUtilize adaptive equipment and recommend modifications to the client's environment to enhance their independence and safetyEducate clients and their caregivers on ways to manage their condition and prevent future injuriesMaintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and care plansStay current with new developments and research in occupational therapyAdhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practiceAdhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards of nursing practiceRequirementsActive license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of FloridaMinimum of 1 year of experience working as an Occupational TherapistAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectivelyPassionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care
