This position is an exempt, salaried position.Job OverviewResponsible to lead and direct the delivery of non-clinical resident care, ensuring exceptional quality and services, while maintaining compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as the company’s mission, policies and procedures.Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 YearlyResponsibilities and DutiesOversees resident care team members to include hiring, training, and onboardingProvide direct day to day oversight of resident care and ensure service plans are followedPartner with the Health & Wellness Director to create and update resident service plans for residents and to identify and proactively respond to changes in condition and service needsDevelop, monitor, and adjust work schedules for the team to ensure adequate staffing to meet service standards and regulatory requirements; ensure appropriate resources to deliver outstanding resident care while effectively managing salary expensesImplement and monitor safety protocolsMaintain continuous and proactive communications with residents’ family members to promote open dialogue and timely sharing of important information; serve as the first point of contact for residents and family questions and concernsPlay a leadership role in creating and maintaining resident profiles to establish an understanding of their histories, preferences, and hobbies, and incorporate them into daily interactions and activitiesImplement and monitor adherence to policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements; address issues quickly to ensure consistent complianceDevelops and manages care team schedulingProcures resident suppliesParticipates in and attends all in-service training as scheduledEnsures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsQualificationsDegree in a related field (health care, social services, therapeutic recreation) preferredPrior experience and knowledge of caring for people with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias requiredMust have current First Aid and CPR certification as required by StateProficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications Physical AbilitiesWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell. An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
