Reports To: IT Infrastructure ManagerAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to manage and support the day-to-day network operations across our three locations: San Francisco (HQ), New York City, and Chicago. This role is based full-time out of our San Francisco headquarters, with a hybrid schedule of four days onsite and one day remote each week.The ideal candidate is a hands-on networking professional comfortable working across a multi-vendor environment, with deep expertise in Cisco Meraki and solid experience with Juniper networking equipment. You'll be the primary point of contact for network health, performance, and troubleshooting across all three sites.Network EnvironmentSan Francisco & New York City: Meraki Firewalls, Meraki Core Switches, Meraki Access Switches, Meraki Access PointsChicago: Meraki Firewalls, Juniper Core Switches, Juniper Access Switches, Juniper Access PointsKey ResponsibilitiesOwn the day-to-day administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure across San Francisco, NYC, and ChicagoConfigure, maintain, and optimize Meraki firewalls, switches, and access points across all locationsConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot Juniper core switches, access switches, and access points in the Chicago environmentMonitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve connectivity, latency, and reliability issuesManage firewall rules, VLANs, VPN configurations, and network segmentation to ensure security and performancePerform firmware/software updates, patching, and lifecycle management of network hardwareSupport wireless network performance and coverage across all sitesDocument network topology, configurations, and standard operating proceduresRespond to and resolve escalated network incidents, coordinating with IT support teams as neededPartner with security, IT, and facilities teams on network changes, new site rollouts, and infrastructure projectsMaintain compliance with internal network security standards and policiesProvide occasional after-hours or on-call support for critical network issues as neededRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in network engineering/administrationHands-on experience administering Cisco Meraki environments (firewalls, switches, access points, Meraki Dashboard)Working experience with Juniper networking equipment (switches and access points)Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing/switching, DHCP, DNS, VPNExperience troubleshooting multi-site, distributed network environmentsSolid understanding of network security best practices (firewall policy, segmentation, access control)Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skillsAbility to work full-time onsite in San Francisco (4 days/week onsite, 1 day remote)Preferred QualificationsRelevant certifications such as Cisco Meraki (CMNA), Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS), CCNA, or CCNPExperience supporting multi-site corporate WAN/LAN environmentsFamiliarity with SD-WAN concepts and implementationExperience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Datadog, PRTG)Work Schedule & LocationThis is a full-time, onsite-first position based at our San Francisco headquarters, requiring 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week
