Gabriella Charter Schools is composed of two high-performing, dance-themed charter schools in the Los Angeles community. GCS 1 serves grades TK-8 and is located in the community of Echo Park. In 2020, Innovate Public Schools, in partnership with USC, ranked GCS1 as a top public middle school for low-income Latinx students in English and math and ranked GCS1 and GCS2 as top public elementary schools for low-income Latinx students in English and math.Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Special Education and Student Services, and the Special Education Coordinator, the Special Education Aide will provide support to student(s) with special needs. The aide will implement comprehensive positive behavioral support plans and effective behavior management strategies; accommodate and deliver instruction; participate as a member of the educational team, and implement all components of the student's individual program.
