Kitchen Team Member

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Team Member to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, has a strong work ethic, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves food preparation, assisting with cooking, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting daily kitchen operations.Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and kitchen standardsAssist with cooking and assembling menu items under the direction of the chef or line cookFollow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulationsProperly store, label, and rotate food items to maintain freshness and qualityMaintain a clean, organized kitchen, including prep areas, equipment, and utensilsMonitor food inventory and report low stock, shortages, or expired itemsReceive, inspect, and store food deliveries following proper proceduresSupport dishwashing, sanitation, and general kitchen cleaning dutiesRemove trash and maintain cleanliness of all work areasPerform additional kitchen duties as assignedPrevious experience in kitchen, food service, or restaurant prep preferredBasic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipmentAbility to follow recipes and instructions with accuracyStrong attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsTeam-oriented with good communication skillsAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsReliable transportation requiredSRM Concrete is more than just a company—we're a family.
