Seeking a detail-oriented, dependable hands-on supervisor to join product development group. The lab supervisors' responsibilities include monitoring, servicing, troubleshooting equipment, running tests, completing reports, updating, and improving existing systems, repairing or replacing faulty equipment as directed along with ensuring all safety procedures are being followed. This position is based out of our Titan facility in Houston, TX (20702 Hempstead Rd.)Key Responsibilities:Setting up and operating electrical and controls test equipment, including power distribution systems, control panels, PLCs, sensors, and data acquisition hardwareWiring, configuring, and troubleshooting electrical and control systems used in generator and power system testingExecuting test plans and procedures in collaboration with engineering teamsCollecting, recording, and organizing test data and results for engineering analysisDiagnosing electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues encountered during testingAssisting engineers with failure analysis and troubleshooting of test anomaliesPerforming preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspection of test equipmentRepairing or replacing faulty electrical components, wiring, sensors, and control hardwareMaintaining a safe, clean, and organized testing environmentWorking closely with engineers to test and validate generators, control systems, and monitoring equipmentUsing manufacturer diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot engine controls and power systemsCommunicating test results, observations, and issues clearly with engineering teamsFollowing company safety policies and electrical safety practicesRequirements: Basic (Required) Qualifications:2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical or control systemsExperience working with industrial electrical equipment, controls, or power systemsKnowledge of AC/DC circuits, electrical protection, and troubleshooting techniquesAbility to interpret electrical schematics and control system documentationStrong attention to detail and ability to follow test procedures accuratelyAbility to support multiple testing activities in a fast-paced lab environmentStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating closely with engineering teamsBasic proficiency with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications:Have hands-on experience with electrical power distribution, industrial controls, or instrumentation systemsAre comfortable reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawingsHave experience working with PLC-based control systemsHave experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems or generator controlsUnderstand National Electrical Code (NEC) fundamentalsHave familiarity with internal combustion engines or generator systems (nice to have)Hold a technical certification or associate degree in Electrical, Controls, or related field (preferred)Your Rewards!Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug InsuranceCompany-Paid Life InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Wellness Programs and Incentives401(k) Retirement Plan & Company MatchPaid Time Off – Sick & Vacation TimePaid HolidaysCool Open-Office ConceptDo you have what it takes to join the Enchanted Rock team?
