Systems Engineer / Program Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW Loesung is seeking an expert technical professional to support a critical prototyping framework for the Space Based Surveillance and Tracking (SBST) program. The overarching project will deliver agile, customized, and fully tailored prototyping support models and frameworks. WHAT YOU'LL DO (PROJECT OBJECTIVES): Generate multiple technical and engineering concepts and models demonstrating critical competencies and capability required to facilitate a refined, overall SBST organization. Analyze existing gaps in technical engineering functional expertise across the SBST organization and generate detailed support models and frameworks embedded with the requisite skill and expertise. Forecast initial support models and frameworks for each SBST organizational mission aspect, demonstrating an ability to efficiently on-board the required human capital in a streamlined fashion. Forecast long-term FOC support models and frameworks for each SBST organizational mission aspect, ensuring the ability to efficiently scale human capital seamlessly. Demonstrate a thorough, practical understanding of high-level program management and oversight functions alongside expert program technical and engineering guidance. WHAT YOU BRING (REQUIRED SKILLS): Extensive Organizational & Functional Expertise: Strong background navigating space acquisition structures, progressing programs through critical milestones from IOC toward FOC. Space Acquisitions Core Knowledge: Expert understanding of fundamental technical and engineering support principles as they directly apply to space acquisitions. SBST Mission Area Expertise: Subject Matter Expert (SME) level understanding of actual SBST programs and specific mission areas, including: Advanced Moving Target Indicator (AMTI) Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) Space Data Network (SN) Environmental Monitoring (EM) Futures WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive salary.
