Edge Developer (C++, IOT, Python and Azure)Location: Huston, TXDuration: 6+ months ContractExperience: 8+ YearsRoles and Responsibilities:Engage with end users to determine use cases and scenariosImplement algorithms on the edgeDesign, build and deploy apps for the Agora Gateway, based on the Agora SDKBuild reusable code and libraries for future useCollaborate with other team members and stakeholdersQualifications and Experience:Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldMasters or Post Graduate degree a plus5-8 years of experience in developing applications in C, C++,.NET Core, PythonGood understanding of IoT, security, communication protocols (MQTT, AMPQ)Experience in implementing IoT solutions on AWS, Azure or GCPExperience in container technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExperience working with Linux and Bash scriptingExperience in embedded software development (RTOS, ADC, buffers) is a plusExperience with small single-board computers (Raspberry Pi) is a plusExperience with virtual machines (Virtual Box, VMWare, etc.) is a plusKnowledge and experience in Continuous Integration and ContinuousExperience in Agile methodologies, Git source code management, Test-Driven Development and integration testingSelf-starter. Work independently in a highly dynamic start-up environment.
