This requirement does not apply to support specialist positions.Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesSoftware Engineer II will report to the Director of Software Engineering in the Technology Department. This role is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You will bring relevant experience with Exchange Manager, front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. The incumbent must be creative, client focused, solutions-driven, organized, and have exceptional communication skills. The role will work closely with the business and the Integration Solution Architect to develop robust, scalable integrations to meet internal client and external partner needs. Experience with the Microsoft Azure stack and HubSpot CRM APIs is a plus.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with development teams (including offshore contractors) and product managers to ideate software solutionsDevelop visually appealing front-end architecture by translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end codeDesign user interactions on web pagesDevelop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back endImplement mobile responsive designsDevelop and design RESTful API services following best practices and standardsStay current with developments in web applications and programming languagesConsider non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability when architecting solutionsMaintain up-to-date job knowledge by studying new development tools and techniquesTest software to ensure responsiveness and efficiencyTroubleshoot, debug, and upgrade softwareWrite technical documentationWork with the Integration Solution Architect to design API layers and interfaces for system integrationProvide technical support for the Integration platform as neededCollaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver sustainable, usable, secure, high-performance solutionsPreferred QualificationsEducation & Experience3-5 years of experience in full-stack developmentBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or a related fieldSkills & AbilitiesProficiency with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, DOM manipulationExperience with modern front-end frameworks (React.js/Redux preferred) and UI/UX designExperience with toolchains (Typescript, WebGrease, Swagger)Experience with languages such as C#, Java/Groovy, PythonExperience with REST APIs, JSON, JWT, OAuth2.0Experience with relational, NoSQL, and graph databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB)Knowledge of stacks (Node.js, .NET Core, Azure, Salesforce)Excellent communication and teamwork skillsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsExperience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices (e.g., Azure DevOps)Experience with automation tools (Postman, Selenium, BrowserStack, Enzyme) is a plusSolid understanding of OOP and architectural patterns (Event-driven, Microservices, DDD)Experience with cloud messaging, push notifications, and websocketsKnowledge of cloud platforms (Salesforce, Heroku, Azure, AWS)Experience with API-led connectivity and CI/CD practicesDevelopment experience for native mobile applications is a plusPay & BenefitsPay Range$91,000-$111,000 per yearCompensation & BenefitsThe compensation for this position will vary based on location, skills and experience. The package may include incentive and bonus opportunities.
