Database Engineer L2/L3 - TS/SCI/MD Poly
OverviewTechnology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for experienced Database Engineers to join their rapidly growing team!DescriptionPerform routine database maintenance such as backups, indexing, and performance tuning.Troubleshoot and resolve database issues like performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems.Monitor database systems for high availability and performance.Implement and maintain database security, including access controls and patching.Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.Collaborate with other teams to integrate database systems with applications.Document database configurations, processes, and architecture.Technical BackgroundProficiency in DBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server. Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning. Experience with cloud database services. Experience with scripting languages for automation.QualificationsAn active TS/SCI with MD polygraph is required. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
