Billing Specialist (Construction) Pittsburgh, PA $60,000-$70,000We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveConstruction Billing Specialistto support billing and accounting operations for construction contract projects. This role is responsible for AIA billing, lien waivers, prevailing wage compliance, certified payroll reporting, and collections, while also providing backup support across various accounting functions. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction accounting experience and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.OVERVIEW OF THE CONSTRUCTION BILLING SPECIALIST ROLE:Prepare and process monthly AIA billings (G702/G703) in accordance with contract requirementsPartner with Project Managers to verify percent complete, schedules of values, and billing detailsManage lien waivers and ensure compliance with state and contractual requirementsObtain and maintain Notary Public certification to verify signatures and legal documentsCalculate prevailing wage rates and ensure compliance with applicable labor lawsPrepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports for qualifying projectsManage collections efforts and collaborate with clients and project teams to resolve payment issuesAssist with payroll processing, cash receipt reconciliation, and city tax filingsProvide backup support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functionsSupport additional accounting and administrative tasks as neededPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION BILLING SPECIALIST:Minimum of 2 years of processing AIA billings, preferably in construction or a related industry.Certified Public Notary certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).Experience with Foundation Software is a plus, but not required.Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.#INMAR2026 #ZRCFS #LI-BN2 #LI-onsite
