A per diem Physical Therapist opportunity is available in Huntingdon County, PA, providing specialized therapy services in a school setting during the Extended School Year (ESY) 2026. This role involves working across two nearby school sites, delivering focused PT support to a small student caseload over the summer period.Key Details:Location: Huntingdon County, PA (two school sites approximately 15-20 minutes apart)Contract Type: Per Diem, in-person onlyDuration & Schedule: • 6/23/26 to 7/16/26 (4 weeks) serving 4 students with varying session times:Two 30-minute sessions over 4 weeksTwice in 4 weeks for 30 minutesOnce a week for 45 minutesOnce a week for 30 minutes • 6/22/26 to 8/3/26 (6 weeks) serving 1 student (specific hours TBD)Caseload: Small and focused for individualized therapyQualifications and Requirements:Valid Physical Therapy licensure and credentials in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) standardsExperience working in a school-based physical therapy setting preferredMust be able to provide services in person at designated school sitesStrong communication and organizational skillsResponsibilities:Provide physical therapy assessments and interventions aligned with student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)Document progress and collaborate with educational staff and familiesAdhere strictly to scheduled session times and maintain professional standards of careThis position offers an excellent opportunity for PTs interested in school-based pediatric therapy during the summer ESY program, allowing for focused impact on student mobility and function.
