Operations Manager
Quality Housing Coalition is seekiung an Operations Manager. This is a full-time position with a range of $55,000 - $58,000 with a top-tier health insurance plan, 48 days Paid Time Off Per year, (30 days PTO & 18 paid holidays, including the week between December 25-January 2nd), a Portland parking pass, flexible schedule, and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
Working to support Project HOME Eviction Prevention Program, and Project HOME Trust teams, prioritizing EPP for duration of contract.
Staff onboarding, software/technology integration, new protocol implementation, etc.
Working hand-in-hand with senior staff to create a more efficient and effective work environment for direct-service staff.
Ensuring timely payment to contractors and outside vendors.
Drafting correspondence with donors, funders and policy-makers.
Preparing and submitting grant reports
Creating an office budget and communicating with staff about office needs.
Organizing the office, ordering supplies and ensuring appliances are in good working order.
Outreach to community partners.
Interviewing and training new office employees and organizing their employment paperwork.
Database management.
Qualifications:
Organized
Experience with small office environments
Able to work independently and with a team
Skilled with direct communication in person and on the phone
Interest in the systems that intersect housing and homelessness
Fluency with Google Docs and Google Sheets
Reports to: Lucas Schrage and Dan Black
