Qualifications
2 years of development experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014 development.
1 years of development experience working with large data sets.
1 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools 2012+ (SSDT) and TFS integration as it applies to multiple developer teams, project build and deployment automation procedures.
Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI/SharePoint integration and other BI tools is a plus.
Extensive knowledge of T-SQL including complex SQL queries (ex: using various joins and sub-queries) and best practices.
Experience with RDBMS principles, database design and normalization.
Extensive knowledge of index design and T-SQL performance tuning techniques.
Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
Exposure to Database Administration i.e. Replication, Backup\Restore strategies, Clustering, Load balancing is a plus.
Contribute substantially in maintaining and monitoring Enterprise Data Warehouse System (EDW) on production and development servers.
Education Requirement –
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
