Rooter Hero Plumbing & Air is Hiring an Electrical Technician!Location: La Habra, CASchedule: Full-TimePay Rate: $25 – $40 per hourEmployment Type: Full-TimeOverviewRooter Hero Plumbing & Air is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our growing team in La Habra, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with technicians, mechanics, and engineers.Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices such as multimeters, voltage testers, and clamp meters. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and machinery. Replace or repair defective components including switches, relays, circuit breakers, and motors. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed. Collaborate with technicians, mechanics, and engineers to resolve system issues. Assist with installing new equipment and upgrading electrical systems when necessary.RequirementsEducation Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology, Electronics, or a related field. Completion of an electrical training program or apprenticeship is preferred. Experience 1–5 years of experience working with electrical systems or equipment. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or maintenance environments. Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Technical Skills Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and electrical components. Experience using testing tools such as multimeters, voltage testers, and clamp meters. Understanding of motor controls, control panels, and electrical wiring. Basic knowledge of PLCs or automation systems is preferred. Safety Knowledge Familiarity with electrical safety procedures. Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures. Understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Soft Skills Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Strong time management and reliability. Physical Requirements Ability to lift equipment 30–50 lbs. Ability to work on ladders, around machinery, or in tight spaces. Comfortable standing or moving for extended periods. Additional Requirements Authorization to work in the United States.
