Plumbing SuperintendentLocation: Phoenix, AZ Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 (Experience Dependent)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to oversee field operations for large-scale commercial plumbing construction projects throughout the Phoenix market. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day jobsite activities, coordinating labor and subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring high-quality project execution from start to finish.The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial plumbing construction and proven experience leading field teams on complex mechanical projects. This individual will serve as the primary field leader, working closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and trade partners to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.Our client is a well-established commercial mechanical contractor with decades of experience delivering plumbing, HVAC, and process piping solutions across healthcare, education, manufacturing, mission-critical, hospitality, aviation, and public works markets. The company is known for its commitment to customer service, employee development, attention to detail, and quality workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise all plumbing field operations from project startup through completionManage and coordinate foremen, journeymen, apprentices, and subcontractorsDevelop and maintain workforce plans to ensure proper manpower allocationCoordinate project activities with General Contractors, owners, and other tradesMonitor project schedules and drive production to meet key milestonesReview construction drawings, specifications, and project scope requirementsEnsure plumbing installations meet quality standards, project specifications, and applicable codesIdentify and resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, and scheduling challengesOversee material deliveries, equipment utilization, and jobsite logisticsQualifications3+ years of commercial plumbing construction experience3+ years of experience in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar leadership roleExperience managing field operations on ground-up and/or large commercial construction projectsStrong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, piping installations, and applicable building codesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction schedulesProven ability to lead multiple crews while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity goalsStrong understanding of OSHA requirements and jobsite safety practicesExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferredExperience with healthcare, manufacturing, mission-critical, education, or public works projectsFamiliarity with BIM coordination and construction technology platformsExperience working for a mechanical contractor specializing in plumbing and HVAC systemsKnowledge of process piping, medical gas, or industrial piping systemsCandidates that complete skills assessments and screening questions will move to the front of the application process.BenefitsFull Benefits IncludedFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
