Sr AWS Aurora Postgres Architect

Architect, design, and implement AWS Aurora Postgres solutions for optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. Lead database architecture initiatives, including schema design, data modeling, and capacity planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize database configurations, queries, and indexing strategies for improved performance. Develop and maintain database automation scripts and tools for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. Perform database migrations, upgrades, and backups as required. Implement and enforce security best practices to ensure data integrity and confidentiality. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner. Stay current with AWS Aurora Postgres features, trends, and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. years of experience architecting, designing, and implementing AWS Aurora Postgres solutions. In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch. Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL programming languages. Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Strong understanding of database replication, backup, and recovery procedures. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
