Description Summary/Objective The Accounts Receivable Specialist is an entry level position responsible for compiling and maintaining accounts receivable records. (non-inclusive description) Primary Responsibilities Process customer payments Generate customer statements Analyze customer accounts Perform collections Prepare and participate in audits Assist with other miscellaneous accounting and office duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Requirements Education and Experience Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred 2+ years of accounts receivable experience preferred Additional Qualifications and Competencies Ability to solve problems and analyze data Customer/client focused Flexible and able to multitask Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Highly motivated and efficient; able to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well with others Good organizational, data entry, mathematical, and analytical skills Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
