It’s an environment where strategic creativity truly shapes the firm’s voice and amplifies its influence.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, qualifications packages, and other pursuit materials that clearly articulate the firm’s design approach and project storylines.Partner closely with architects and designers to translate technical and conceptual ideas into engaging visual and written content.Oversee and mentor a team of three Marketing Managers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to elevate the overall quality of marketing output.Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Business Development on sector strategy, pursuit planning, and firmwide marketing initiatives.Manage one or two key sectors—such as Workplace, Private Development, Higher Education (including K–12), Hospitality, or Multifamily Housing—ensuring all sector specific materials remain relevant, strategic, and market aligned.Uphold brand standards across all touchpoints while ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency in all deliverables.Contribute to awards submissions, website content, social media storytelling, and additional firmwide communications as needed.Skills and Experience: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, is required.5+ years of experience in the A&D industry preferred experience within architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, planning, or a similar design focused environment.Exceptional strength in either graphic design or writing is required; mastery in at least one of these disciplines is more critical than management experience.A design background (architecture, interiors, environmental design, etc.) is highly advantageous, helping the Senior Marketing Manager communicate seamlessly with project teams.Several successful team members have previously studied interior design, and that design fluency has been instrumental to their effectiveness in this role.Prior people management experience is preferred, ideally within a marketing or creative team.Ability to lead multiple deadlines simultaneously while producing high-quality, visually consistent, and strategically aligned work.Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills, with an ability to thoughtfully guide junior team members and support firm leadership.Benefits:Competitive base salary of $135,000–$150,000.Annual year-end bonus based on overall company profitability.Opportunity to partner directly with the Director of Marketing & BD and work closely with highly skilled architects and designers.Exposure to a diverse set of project types across Workplace, Private Development, Higher Education (K–12), Hospitality, and Multifamily Housing.A supportive environment that values creativity, clarity, and collaboration—ideal for someone with strong design sensibilities and marketing craft.
