Paralegal - Investment Firm

Simmons and Hanbury are partnering with leading investment management firm in New York City is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Legal and Compliance team. This role will work closely with internal attorneys, compliance professionals, and cross-functional teams to support a broad range of legal, regulatory, and operational matters within a sophisticated investment environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist internal and external counsel with transaction support, including document review, negotiation support, and closing processesReview and analyze non-disclosure agreements and other vendor and commercial contractsPrepare and manage account opening documentation, including KYC and AML materialsPartner with the Compliance team on regulatory and compliance initiativesSupport corporate action and class action litigation workflowsMaintain and organize legal records and documentation systemsProvide general legal and administrative support to attorneys and contribute to internal process improvementsQualificationsMinimum 5+ years of paralegal experience, ideally within financial services, asset management, or a law firm supporting investment clientsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentProactive, resourceful, and capable of exercising sound judgmentPlease reach out at libby.cloete@simmonsandhanbury.com for more information.
