Buyer – Aircraft Engine MROOpa-Locka, Miami, Florida** Sign on bonus of $1500!Aviation / Engine Maintenance / ProcurementAre you an aviation purchasing professional looking to join a growing aircraft engine MRO business supporting some of the industry's most critical maintenance operations?We're supporting a specialist engine repair and overhaul facility in Miami that is looking to hire a Buyer to support procurement activities across engine maintenance, repairs, tooling, consumables and subcontract services.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced aviation environment working closely with Production, Planning, Quality and Stockroom teams within a highly regulated FAA Part 145 operation.The Role: BuyerYou'll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing aircraft engine parts, consumables, tooling and repair services to support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activity.Key responsibilities include:• Raising and managing RFQs with suppliers• Negotiating pricing, lead times and commercial terms• Processing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries• Expediting critical materials to support engine turnaround times• Managing subcontracted repairs including NDT, machining and plating• Ensuring full aviation traceability and certification compliance• Supporting supplier performance and cost reduction initiatives• Working closely with production and stockroom teams to minimise downtimeWhat We're Looking For: Buyer• 1–3+ years of purchasing, procurement or supply chain experience• Aviation, aerospace or engine MRO experience strongly preferred• Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as Quantum highly advantageous• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, regulated aviation environmentImportant Eligibility RequirementDue to ITAR regulations and government contract requirements, applicants must be either:• A US Citizen, or• A US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision coverage401(k) with 4% company matchCompany paid life insurance & disability coverBonus opportunitiesPTO, personal days & paid holidaysLong-term career growth within aviation MROThis opportunity would suit someone from an aviation purchasing, engine support, materials, stockroom or supply chain background looking to grow within the aircraft engine aftermarket sector.If you'd like to discuss the opportunity confidentially, please apply or message me directly.
