Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Biddeford, ME where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This position requires practice across the patient lifespan and frequent collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in critical care, emergency, neonatal, and medical-surgical settings.Minimum Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.Greater than 2 years of clinical experience, including adult ICU experience.Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS required.Experience with Drager V500 ventilators, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator, NeoPuff, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, and V60 BiPAP.Experience using EPIC electronic medical record documentation.Ability to float to all areas of the hospital and care for patients ranging from newborn to adult.Preferred Qualifications:NICU and PICU experience preferred to demonstrate competence treating newborns and critically ill pediatric patients.Prior experience attending high-risk deliveries and participating on neonatal resuscitation teams preferred.Assignment DetailsShift hours: 1900-0700.Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.Weekend hours: 36.Call requirements: none.Float requirements: position floats to all areas of the hospital.
