AI Engineer

About the Role THIS IS A IN PERSON ROLE! Hudson Construction Group is seeking an innovative AI Engineer / AI Estimator to help transform the way we estimate projects and use artificial intelligence throughout our business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leveraging AI tools to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and support estimating and business operations. If you're passionate about AI and enjoy finding smarter ways to solve problems, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Utilize AI tools to assist with commercial construction estimating. Develop and improve AI-driven workflows for estimating and operations. Research and implement emerging AI technologies to improve productivity. Support bid preparation using AI-assisted software. Collaborate with leadership to identify automation opportunities. Create AI prompts, templates, and processes to streamline daily operations. Assist with data organization, reporting, and project documentation. Stay current on advancements in AI and recommend new tools and strategies. Qualifications Experience using AI platforms such as Claude, Perplexity, ChatGPT, or similar large language models. Experience with AI-assisted estimating or construction software is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Experience in construction estimating or commercial construction is a plus but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
