This role oversees task assignments, training, quality control, equipment operation, and performance management while promoting a clean, safe, and continuously improving work environment. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership experience in a manufacturing or CPG setting and are committed to upholding operational excellence and regulatory standards.Core Job DutiesSupervises Pack teams >10 personnelAssigns daily tasksTrains new hiresKeeps team on track with time expectationsEnsures the expected quality level is metSupports a culture of continuous improvement; conducts Gemba walksResponsible for keeping all packaging areas clean by following 6SSupports a GMP work environmentResponsible for execution of batch record documentation and delivering against daily scheduleUtilizes company's Regulatory Seed-to-Sale System and makes conversions as neededSupports with label creationPrints reports and disperses to teamWorks cross-functionally with Processing, Material Handling, and Order Fulfillment departments to ensure incoming material to be packed, inventory control, and the logistics delivery schedule are maintained.Communicates inventory discrepancies to Packaging Manager and Sales TeamResponsible for operation of automated equipmentConfirms set-up and run log are filled out properlyEngages with maintenance team if there is equipment downtimeApproves timecards, PTO, sick days, and handles disciplinary actions/rewards for direct reportsLeads 1:1 scheduled monthly meetings with direct reportsConducts annual performance reviewsRequired Experience, Education and SkillsTwo years of experience in a position with supervisory/managerial responsibilities with demonstrated experience managing agents and operationsDemonstrated experience within a CPG, Manufacturing, or Production setting preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and proceduresAbility to measure, package and label in a precise mannerEffective time-management skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environmentProficiency in windows-based software and point of sale applications a plusRequires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.BenefitsCresco Labs is proud to offer eligible employees a robust offering of benefits including, major medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(K)-match program, FSA/HSA programs, LTD/STD options, life insurance and AD&D.
