We hire talented people (thinkers, doers, dreamers, makers), challenge them and give them every opportunity to grow.What You'll DoStrategic Planning – 25%Lead the team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions that grow our client's brands and ensure strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation, heavily focusing on performance-based media & analytics-driven approach to client successCollaborate with Next executive-level leadership on strategic marketing approach, guiding translation of client goals to the Business Solutions team, activation teams, and media partnersResponsible for providing high level strategic insights that build client business in ongoing planning and quarterly business reviewsApply and leverage analytical outputs to build media recommendations and ongoing business growthDevelop & maintain strong understanding of all internal and external analytics tools, identify appropriate applications based on business needsLead the team's understanding of client's business and uncovering of motivations/needs; proactively learning about the business from a holistic perspective (e.g. quarterly earnings reports, overarching business trends)Identify and evaluate emerging media technologies and partnerships that deliver transformational client outcomes tied to client business successEnsure strategic alignment across all channels and teams to ensure a fully integrated approachAccount Management – 25%Responsible for client contracts, negotiations, agency revenue and profitabilityOversee operations of the Business Solutions Team to ensure consistent and high-quality client deliverablesConstruct staffing plans that support client needs and team member growth mappingEnsure collaboration with all internal Horizon teams (e.g., channel & consumer research) to ensure tasks are within contract scope and are executed properlyResponsible and accountable for successful client connection and outputClient Relationship Development & Management – 25%Anticipate and proactively address enterprise client needs, providing strategic counsel on business-critical initiativesAdvance client relationship by maintaining positive rapport and championing trust through thorough understanding of their business and consistent deliveryDevelop and maintain rapport and relationship with day-to-day up to most senior level clientsMaintain trust & partnership across direct team and overall organization, ensuring positive collaborationEnsure team is anticipating client requests, guide team in troubleshooting and problem solving with internal resources to proactively provide solutionsManage client expectations around timelines and deliverables, adjusting and reprioritizing as neededUnderstand when to elevate situations to executive leadershipAct at client's most valued partner, serving as a trusted and consistent voice in meetings and providing POVs and thought leadershipParticipate in Horizon Next department-wide conversations and plansTeam Management & Supervision – 20%Ensure an inclusive environment for team members to be their whole selves & do their best workProvide executive oversight of multiple Business Solutions Teams, ensuring consistent delivery of premium client experiencesProvide ongoing, real-time, performance feedback to Director/VP, Director to ensure continued team growthGuide team in setting goals and professional development timelines, ensure team members have challenging, level-appropriate projects and opportunities to learn new skillsEnsure team members have support needed to achieve development goalsActive role in conversations around staffing needsSet a positive team environmentTraining & Development – 5%Proactively take part in continued learning opportunities internally and externallyMaintain active knowledge of industry trends, attending relevant industry conferences and eventsUses this knowledge to influence and innovate for clients & internal teamsWho You AreA strong writer, presenter and communicator;
