To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a Traveling Maintenance Technician to oversee facility upkeep across multiple regions in Texas.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for resolving facility-related issues submitted through the company's ticketing system by store employees and District Managers. This is a travel-based role that requires strong organization and a proactive approach to prioritizing trips based on urgency and overall workload.This position does not include direct washer or dryer repairs. Instead, the technician focuses on maintaining the facility and its supporting systems, while coordinating with external contractors for larger or specialized repair work.Compensation & Benefits:Base Salary: $40,000 yearlyPerformance Incentives: Up to $5,000 yearlyMileage reimbursementPhone allowance providedCompany credit card for travel expensesPaid time off and holidaysMedical, dental, and vision benefits are availableGrowth opportunities with a rapidly expanding companySchedule:• Full-time, travel required across Texas regions• Typically Monday–Friday, with occasional emergency or weekend callsIf you are a motivated technician with strong problem-solving abilities who enjoys hands-on work and traveling throughout Texas, we encourage you to apply and join the SpinXpress team.Responsibilities:Monitor and respond to facility maintenance tickets submitted by laundromat employees and District ManagersPlan and schedule trips across assigned regions using the ticketing system to organize workloadHandle urgent issues (e.g., pipe bursts, leaks, or electrical concerns) by responding directly or coordinating outside contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc)Perform general facility maintenance, including: Plumbing repairs (water lines, drain lines, valves, fittings), basic electrical work (lighting, switches, outlets), painting and drywall repair, broken tile replacement, and other cosmetic facility repairsTroubleshoot minor building-related issues independently and escalate larger repairs to outside contractorsKeep accurate records of all completed maintenance in the ticketing systemCommunicate with employees and managers to confirm repairs are completed and follow up on pending issuesEnsure all work is performed safely and meets company standardsQualifications:Experience in facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and cosmetic repairsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple maintenance requests using a ticketing systemProven track record of responding promptly to urgent maintenance issuesStrong communication skills to coordinate with employees, managers, and contractorsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to travel across Texas regions, organizing trips based on workload and urgencyProficiency in maintaining accurate records of completed maintenance tasksCommitment to performing all work safely and in compliance with company standardsAbout Company:Here at SpinXpress, our Mission is to deliver a fun environment and experience while at work, keeping our focus on providing an Excellent Customer Service Experience within our facilities and in our communities –Clean, Bright, and Safe – A Better Laundry, That's The SpinXpress Way!
