Server/Bartender

Astra is a farm-to-table restaurant in Buda with a wood-fired oven and produce sourced from our own mini farm and local growers. We're looking for a Server/Bartender who can work both front-of-house roles and keep pace on a busy floor. What you'll do Work either the server or bartender position, depending on the shift Cover open or close shifts — flexibility across both is required Help with prep and dish before and during service Provide excellent table service and genuine hospitality Learn the menu inside and out — ingredients, preparation, sourcing — so you can speak to it confidently with guests Read the table and manage expectations to deliver the best possible guest experience Work with urgency during rushes without cutting corners Keep your station and the floor clean throughout service Show up on time, every time, with a good attitude What we're looking for Prior server or bartender experience preferred Comfortable moving between FOH roles as needed Reliable, coachable, and works well under pressure Genuine interest in food and hospitality Pay Base: $8/hr With tips: $16–20/hr average, usually $17.5-19.5 Availability Part-time Must be available for both opening and closing shifts Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid training Work Location: In person
