The Fingerprint Technician plays a critical role in the identification and verification processes within various sectors, including law enforcement, security, and background checks. Duties
Capture clear and accurate fingerprint impressions using various techniques and equipment.
Ensure all fingerprint records are properly documented and maintained in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
Verify the quality of fingerprints collected to ensure they meet required specifications.
Assist clients or subjects during the fingerprinting process, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
Maintain equipment used for fingerprinting, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies or other organizations to facilitate background checks as needed.
Stay updated on best practices in fingerprinting techniques and relevant legal requirements.
Skills

Familiarity with fingerprinting equipment and technology is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
