This role focuses on keeping critical equipment safe, reliable, and ready for operation.What You’ll DoDiagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systemsPerform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment (trucks, sweepers, etc.)Troubleshoot equipment issues and respond to breakdownsRead schematics and technical manualsMaintain service records and ensure equipment safety complianceOperate shop equipment and support field service as neededWhat We’re Looking For2+ years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experienceStrong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledgeAbility to troubleshoot and work independentlyExperience with industrial or municipal xaygatp equipment preferredValid driver’s license requiredWork EnvironmentMix of shop and field work in varying weather conditionsPhysical role (lifting, standing, climbing as needed)Overtime is expected based on workload and seasonal demandSafety-focused culture
