Your work will directly contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of those we serve, ensuring that food is prepared safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with dietary and healthcare teams to accommodate specific medical and nutritional requirements. This position demands attention to detail, adherence to health regulations, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment./ph3Job Responsibilities/h3ulliPrepare and cook meals according to established recipes, dietary guidelines, and individual resident needs, including specialized diets and medical conditions./liliMaintain accurate records of food inventory, meal preparation, and dietary modifications to ensure compliance with health and safety standards./liliEnsure all kitchen equipment and work areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly to meet regulatory standards and prevent contamination./liliAssist in menu planning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance meal quality and resident satisfaction./li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulliProven experience as a cook in a healthcare or similar environment./liliMinimum of two (2) years cooking experience working in food service of a long-term care facility or a health-care setting is preferred./liliBasic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards./liliAbility to follow detailed dietary instructions and recipes accurately./liliStrong organizational skills to manage records and inventory effectively./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliExperience working in a healthcare setting./liliCertification in food safety or culinary arts./liliFamiliarity with dietary requirements./liliAbility to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams./li/ul/div
