Through its Pocket Ultra Club platform, the organization continues its mission of "Powering the Business of Pleasure™."Role DescriptionThe Field Service Technician is responsible for on-site installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and integrated systems at customer locations. This role serves as the face of the company in the field, ensuring installations are completed safely, correctly, and in accordance with technical specifications and customer requirements. The technician performs diagnostics, resolves technical issues, documents work performed, and coordinates with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and system reliability.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site installation, setup, and configuration of equipment, systems, and related softwareTest installed systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues at installationInterpret and follow installation guides, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationDocument installation activities, service visits, configurations, and issue resolutions in service management systemsCoordinate with dispatch, project managers, and technical support teams regarding scheduling and escalationsMaintain tools, equipment, and inventory assigned for field workFollow safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all job sitesAdhere to service-level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and customer service expectationsIdentify and report recurring issues, site risks, or improvement opportunities to managementPotential to perform routine maintenance, upgrades, replacements, and system optimizations primarily on locationAll other duties as assignedQualifications Demonstrated experience performing field installations, service, or technical supportAbility to work independently in customer environments with minimal supervisionExperience reading and following technical instructions, diagrams, and schematicsStrong mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitudeRequired Technical SkillsInstallation and troubleshooting of hardware and connected systemsBasic networking knowledge (Ethernet, IP addressing, Wi-Fi, cabling)Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipmentAbility to configure basic software, firmware, or device settingsUnderstanding of safety standards, grounding, and proper cable managementRequired Soft SkillsStrong, respectful customer service and interpersonal skillsClear verbal and written (texting) communication abilitiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsTime management and ability to manage multiple field assignmentsAttention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required with Associate’s degree or technical certification in electronics, IT, networking, or a related field preferred desired 1–5 years of experience in field service, installation, or technical support roles strongly desiredExperience working directly at customer sites in a professional capacity desiredExperience with installations involving hardware, software, or integrated systems desiredExperience working in environments requiring adherence to safety and compliance standards desiredWork Environment/Remote Work and Travel RequirementsWillingness and ability to travel weekly, including air travel, to customer sites for scheduled installation and maintenance workAbility to stay overnight for multi-day assignmentsValid driver’s license and ability to rent and safely operate a motor vehicleReliable mobile phone with voice and SMS/text messaging capability for work-related communicationsAll business travel, rental and lodging expenses are company-paid in accordance with company policyPhysical RequirementsAbility to safely lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and squat for extended periods during installations and service callsAbility to climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined or elevated spaces, where required by the jobAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterityAbility to perform repetitive motions, including gripping, reaching, twisting, and overhead workAbility to visually inspect equipment, wiring, and installation areas, including distinguishing colors and reading small text or indicatorsAbility to hear and communicate effectively in environments with background noise, such as construction sites or equipment roomsAbility to safely operate a motor vehicle and travel to and from customer sitesAbility to perform installation/maintenance during off-hours, generally during early morning times before 6:00amSign-On/Retention BonusBonus paid in three installments: $250 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months, $1250 after 1 year. Advancement OpportunitiesField Service Technician Level 2; Field Operations Manager; and potentially others by merit.LOCATIONSCorporate     9800 Hillwood Parkway, Ste. 140, Fort Worth, Texas 76117Distribution   1041 Greengrass Drive, Ste.
