Information Technology Security Analyst

W2 only, must be authorized to work in the U.S without employer sponsorship now or in the future.The Information Security Technical Analyst is a hands-on role responsible for executing daily security operations. Working under technical leadership and aligned to defined security priorities, this position focuses on direct execution: running scans, managing vulnerabilities, triaging alerts, remediating issues, and maintaining overall security hygiene. The role is accountable for driving tasks through to completion and ensuring measurable outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesVulnerability Management & Patch ExecutionSecurity Monitoring & Incident ResponseSecurity Operations & Tool ManagementRemediation, Documentation & ComplianceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in security operations or engineering roleExperience with vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable, Qualys, or similar)Practical experience with SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or equivalent)Familiarity with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, etc.)Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 security toolsSolid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall analysisKnowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, and regulatory environmentsRelevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ required; additional certifications like CySA+, CEH, SSCP, or vendor-specific credentials are a plusStrong technical writing and documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of tasks through completion
