Facility ProfileTGH is the area's only level I trauma center and one of just two ABA-verified adult & pediatric burn centers in Florida. With five medical helicopters, we transport critically injured or ill patients from 23 surrounding counties to receive the advanced care they need. Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Physician Business Development, conducts activities associated with any/and all physician business development events to include but not limited by the TGH sponsorship of Continuing Medical Education including coordination with the USF College of Medicine Continuing Professional Education Office. Plans, conducts/oversees event logistics including coordination of physician materials, expenditure accounting, TGH/USF reporting, and post-CME or ROI reporting follow up. Works with Physicians and their staff to ensure all documentation is completed. Attendance of CME events and/or other designated events outside of normal working hours may be required. Plans and conducts or oversees all activities associated with TGH sponsored CME dinners and/or other designated events including pre-event scheduling and communication and post-event follow up. Oversee the day to day functions and management of the CME coordinators. Train staff on updates to current roles and provide full training to any new staff members. Assist in creation of department budget and oversees that expenses do not exceed budgeted amounts. Works closely with Director of Physician Business Development to improve physician satisfaction and communicate hospital changes or updates with staff members. Oversees recruitment and hiring of new staff members and reviews their progress annually. Assists in onboarding and recruitment of new physicians. Responsibilities include assisting the physician liaisons by scheduling lunches with physician offices, updating physician profiles in Physician Finder, and inputting physician liaison reports into the Physician Business Development database. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Required SkillsBachelor's Degree or 5-7 years of relevant experience; proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software; databases, excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
