Apply now!Press Technicians Responsibilities:Operating presses and following checklists, procedures, and guidelines to production flow to meet customer specificationsInspect brass casings for cosmetic and functional defects using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers) for quality monitoringUtilizing PLEX production software effectivelyPerforming mechanical adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issuesAdheres to all safety requirements, including cleaning the work area, lockout/tagout, and wearing required PPERequirements for Press Technicians:Previous experience working in manufacturing preferredAbility to work with large press machineryPrior forklift experience is a plusIntellectual curiosity, passion for machinery, positive attitude, self-discipline, and commitment to the company's missionMust be detail-oriented with a high degree of quality and accuracyMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to lift, twist, pull, and bend as requiredMust successfully pass background checks and pre-employment screeningMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong mechanical, mathematical, reading comprehension, and troubleshooting skillsDemonstrate safe work practicesAbility to work independently and within a team environment, and strong communication skillsIND043QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
