Responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule, as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials and maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitability, and while complying with our Safety culture of Zero Harm.Essential FunctionsProject financial responsibilitiesPreconstruction servicesProject start-up and schedulingProject administration, coordination, and close-outPromote client and subcontractor relationsPerform other related duties as neededMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree (Construction Management degrees preferred) or equivalent experienceInternship, or equivalent experience, with a commercial general contractorProficiency using a personal computer and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)Preferred ExperienceOne to three years of previous work experienceFamiliarity with RFIs, change orders, submittals, and punch-listsPreparing sub-contractor meeting minutesThe base compensation range for the role posted above is $90,000 - $97,000 annually.About UsBalfour Beatty US is an industry-leading provider of general contracting, at-risk construction management and design-build services for public and private sector clients across the nation.
