Job Title- Program Manager Duration- 06+ Months with Possible extension Location – Oakland, CA (Hybrid)Only local candidates only to bay area/work location-oakland. Assignment is hybrid and required onsite at oakland go once a week likely on mondays but could be subject to change.Mileage reimbursement for business travel to a location other than headquartered location, other expenses can be submitted on a case-by-case basis as needed, based on business needs.Top things looking for:Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to lead cross functional teams/projects, engineering or utility experience, understanding of contracts, previous leadership experience a plus.Position Summary:Acts as a liaison between Client and our Substation Engineering Contractors. Provides planning, strategic analysis, and operational support. Facilitates, directs, and coordinates activities and special projects related to the execution of the Substation Owner's Engineering outsourced work portfolio.Job Responsibilities:Helps support interactions with contractors to support work plan portfolio. Prioritizes issues and facilitates/takes corrective actions, as appropriate.Support the organization, in analyzing costs and making recommendations on cost reduction initiatives based on data.Analyze work processes and makes recommendations on how to integrate and improve processes.Provide analysis for workload efficiency and making recommendations on future resource needs based on the data.Lead special projects to resolve urgent issues.Build relationships with all vendors and their leadsWork with other LOBs to gather feedback and make improvementsMaintain and Enhance guidance to Owners Engineers and Internal Engineers on dealing with ContractorsWork closely with Sourcing and Contract Management on MSA’s and contractsWork with the key stake holders to provide our vendors with workload forecast to gain efficienciesManage LAN ID’s and contractor WorkforceAssess Vendor Capabilities and Strengths as well as provide feedback for improvementEvaluates contractor performance based on established business metrics (project/program and portfolio level). Prioritizes issues and facilitates/takes corrective actions, as appropriate.Lead Contractor Communications MeetingsEducation:Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
