Fund Development Coordinator
POSITION OVERVIEW/SUMMARY:
At Catherine Cobb Safe House, we provide trauma-informed education and advocacy along with empowering support services to victims/survivors of domestic or sexual violence. We are looking for someone who is excited about our mission and who has the skills and personality to effectively share that excitement with potential funders. We will pay the right candidate to become certified in Fund Raising Management.
The Fund Development Coordinator is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing strategies to secure the financial resources needed to achieve the mission of CCSH.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
Support of Agency and Program Missions
Demonstrates commitment to the philosophy of Catherine Cobb Safe House.
Communicates with staff regarding funding needs for each program.
Develops and implements a comprehensive written annual fund development plan and tracks results of the plan.
Cultivates and maintain relationships with individual and corporate donors.
Engages with community partners and groups through membership, presentations, and interviews.
Develops new and implement current fundraising campaigns and events.
Researches, writes, submits and tracks grant proposals.
Develops annual fundraising budget.
Maintains a calendar of events and list of deadlines for grants.
Assist various department staff in writing periodic reports to comply with grant requirements.
Acknowledges funds received appropriately and timely.
Utilizes social media for both ongoing requests and special events.
Oversees organization website in regard to fundraising.
Develops organizational materials and collateral materials for fundraising activities.
Creates organization donor newsletter and annual report.
Supervises the Volunteer Coordinator.

Job Knowledge
Successfully completes Domestic and Sexual Violence New Hire Training and fund development training and then completes 24 hours per year thereafter.
Possess broad knowledge of organizational structure, functions and needs
Possesses knowledge of current trends in fund development.
Effectively shares the story of the agency and its successes and challenges to maximize potential funders’ desire to contribute.

Possesses the ability to solve minor problems independently and make appropriate recommendations and referrals.
Is able to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
Participates in program planning.
Shares ideas with staff and supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to reliably manage transportation.
Able to recognize and respond quickly to emergency situations and potential threats
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
