The incumbent will be expected to meet in person with their supervisor and team members at least once quarterly.Here’s What You Will DoAs a Drug Price Reporting Specialist, you will lead compliance activities for the Drug Price Transparency (DPT) Program, ensuring that prescription drug manufacturers and other regulated entities report complete and compliant information about prescription drug prices and prices increases as required by Oregon law. Duties include:Ensuring that drug manufacturers are reporting as requiredCommunicating with regulated entities about complex and potentially sensitive compliance issuesEvaluating claims of trade secrecy status and issuing determinationsReviewing and preparing evidence for investigations and enforcement actionsInvestigating and analyzing suspected non-complianceReferring cases for and supporting enforcement action, including testifying or providing evidence at administrative hearingsProviding technical assistance to regulated entities and other stakeholders to improve program compliancePreparing materials and providing training to educate regulated entities and other stakeholders about DPT reporting requirementsFor a complete listing of the duties and responsibilities of this position, please review the position description.Minimum QualificationsHere’s what you need to qualify:Five years of experience doing administrative research that included compiling and evaluating facts to recommend management action, or decide compliance or eligibility with program guidelines and regulations. Three of the five years must be above the technical support level.College-level course work may substitute for experience on the basis of 45-quarter units per year, up to a maximum of three years.Requested SkillsDemonstrated ability to review complex information and determine and document compliance with laws, rules, and division policiesAbility to clearly communicate regulatory requirements to a wide variety of individuals, both orally and in writingExperience safeguarding confidential informationAbility to exercise independent judgement and resolve disputes through education, communication, and negotiationEfficient organization and time management to monitor reviews and track deadlines for a large volume of reportsApplication InformationA resume and cover letter are required for this job posting. The assessment will be based on the relevant experience, education, training, and certifications documented in the application materials. On average, candidates new to state service will most likely be offered compensation in the lower to mid-level of the salary range.The salary range listed is the non-PERS eligible rate.
