Network Installation Engineer

Job DescriptionWe want to bring several experienced Lead WIFI Network Installation Engineers to join our team.Our installations team travels throughout the US installing new WIFI systems in hotels, resorts, casinos, student housing, etc. This role requires almost full-time travel, with an estimated 85% out-of-state and 15% local Central FL work. The company pays for all travel, including food per diems.Key Responsibilities for this role:Install and configure wired and wireless network infrastructures for hospitality clientsInstall low-voltage cabling for wireless infrastructurePerform network troubleshooting and diagnosis of wireless connectivity issues throughout the installation processDesign and implement VLANs, subnets, and routing to support wireless infrastructureConfigure firewalls and routers to secure wireless networksConfigure managed switchesProvide onsite support and training for hotel staff and managementCreate standard network documentationUnderstand network protocols and standards commonly used in the networking industryQualifications:CCNA certification or equivalent level of knowledge is requiredExperience in installing and configuring wireless networksExperience in VLAN design and configurationExperience in subnetting and routingExperience in configuring managed switchesExperience in low-voltage cable running, termination, testing, and managementStrong verbal and written communication skills and comfortable with client interactionAbility to master a good public relation with clientsLeadership skills (appropriate and effective communication with clients, team members, and management; problem solver; organized well and motivated to attain goals)Ability to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to follow safety proceduresProficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Visio, Word)Proficient with survey and network designs. Competent with Heat MappingAdditionally, experience with any of the following types of equipment would be ideal: Ruckus, HP ProCurve, Aruba, Brocade, Meraki, RG Nets, pfSense, or Cisco.We are headquartered in Clearwater, FL, but we have installers throughout the US.
