Maintenance Technician
Job Description
JOB SUMMARYThis role is responsible for the safety and maintenance of building infrastructure or manufacturing/production equipment and systems. The position involves the repair, maintenance, installation, and enhancement of machinery and mechanical equipment, which may extend to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Responsibilities also include managing the coordination and modification of building space, conducting facility inspections and equipment condition assessments for necessary modifications, and performing predictive, preventive, and proactive maintenance analysis. The role further entails designing and implementing long-term continuous improvement applications and systems to enhance facility and/or production reliability and infrastructure, ensuring quality system compliance, and documenting/reporting issues to maintain a safe and reliable environment. This job family is intended for technical roles with responsibility for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and production/manufacturing equipment technicians, as well as tool makers and machine setters.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure safety and maintenance of building infrastructure or manufacturing/production equipment and systems.Repair, maintain, install, and enhance machinery and mechanical equipment.Apply mechanical responsibilities to equipment, machinery, electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC.Manage coordination and modification of building space, including design standards, allocation, modifications, moves, and expansion.Conduct facility inspections and equipment condition assessments to determine necessary modifications, including repair work, replacements, and capital improvements.Perform predictive, preventive, and proactive maintenance analysis.Design and implement long-term continuous improvement applications and systems to enhance facility and/or production reliability and infrastructure.Ensure infrastructure specific elements of quality system compliance.Document and report issues to provide a safe and reliable environment.Required QualificationsExperience in the safety and maintenance of building infrastructure or manufacturing/production equipment and systems.Experience in the repair, maintenance, installation, and enhancement of machinery and mechanical equipment.Experience with mechanical responsibilities for equipment, machinery, electrical, plumbing, and / or HVAC.Experience in managing coordination and modification of building space.Experience conducting facility inspections and/or equipment condition assessments.Experience in predictive, preventive and proactive maintenance analysis.Experience in designing and implementing long-term continuous improvement applications and systems.Experience in ensuring facility and/or production reliability and infrastructure specific elements of quality system compliance.Experience documenting and reporting issues.Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and production/manufacturing equipment.Experience as a tool maker and machine setter.Education: High SchoolCompany Description Compunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
