The Salesperson will actively generate and qualify leads, respond to inbound inquiries, and schedule on-site consultations with potential residential and commercial customers. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with prospects, understanding their construction or renovation needs, preparing and presenting estimates or proposals, and following up to close sales. The role involves maintaining accurate records in a CRM or tracking system, coordinating with project managers and operations to ensure realistic timelines and pricing, and providing regular status updates on the sales pipeline. The Salesperson will also participate in local outreach activities, such as community events, networking, and site visits, to build brand awareness and long-term customer relationships.Qualifications Proven experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles, ideally in construction, building services, real estate, or a related field.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical or project details in clear, accessible language.Ability to build and maintain client relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and follow structured sales processes from prospecting to closing.Comfort visiting job sites, reading or discussing basic plans or scopes of work, and collaborating with operations or project teams.Solid organizational and time-management skills, including maintaining accurate notes, proposals, and follow-up schedules.Basic proficiency with digital tools such as email, spreadsheets, CRM systems, or estimating software (training can be provided).Motivated, goal-oriented work style with the ability to work independently on-site and adapt to changing priorities.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in sales, construction management, or business are a plus.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel to client meetings and job sites.
