Position: Network & Data Security EngineerDirect Hire (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST)Annual salary range: $110K– $124K/yearInterview Process: 2–3 steps, Virtual and OnsiteSeeking a Network & Data Security Engineer with 5+ years of Information Security experience, focused on network security, email defense, and data protection technologies.Must-Have Skills:Hands-on experience with Proofpoint (email security/defense)Strong network security background beyond ZscalerExperience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, encryption, and network segmentationAbility to work closely with Networking and SOC teamsExperience reviewing/tuning firewall, IPS, and email security rulesKnowledge of data protection for sensitive/PHI/PCI informationFamiliarity with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI frameworksOne or more security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CISM/CISA, CEH, or equivalentPreferred:Healthcare industry experienceKey Responsibilities:Monitor and respond to IDS/IPS, firewall, email security, and DLP alertsValidate network security systems and segmentation controlsConduct firewall reviews, architecture assessments, and encryption reviewsCoordinate remediation efforts during security incidentsEducation:Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).Additional Note: As this is a direct hire role, all candidates — including remote candidates — must be comfortable attending an onsite final interview.
