In addition, the Modifications Senior Sales Manager will develop a sales plan targeting new customers and upselling to current customers, and source to identify new prospects via Jetnet, Salesforce.com, and leads through other avenues.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSell avionics and cabin electronics modifications, upgrades, and mandated equipment installations in addition to interior modifications and refurbishments to Business Jet and Turboprop aircraft operators Manage, develop, and mentor the Avionics and Interiors sales team, including sales managers and quoters, to drive sales growth and performanceForecast Avionics and Interiors sales, and ensure sufficient opportunities exist in the sales funnel to meet quota expectationsCollaborate with Maintenance Sales to identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities and ensure coordinated communication with Western Aircraft customersResearch/Identify prospects in key marketing area, using Salesforce.com, Jetnet, market data, and team inputAssist customer in determining best avionics and cabin management solutions for their aircraft profile and personal preferences Accurately research and quote parts, labor and outside services for avionics projects that fall within Western’s target product offering and airframes Proactively work with Engineering to ensure quotes are accurate, and capabilities are available to handle the projects at handCommunicate with Scheduler to ensure labor resources are available for required work Maintain high level of customer service by responding quickly to questions, quote inquiries, and post-sale follow-upActively participate in trade shows and follow-up after the show with business contacts and prospects Organize sales trips to meet with prospects, and set specific objectives for each trip, often in coordination with Maintenance Sales Attend scheduling and sales meetings; provide input for improved processes to generate opportunities and resolve issuesCommit to understanding new avionics, cabin management, and interior products and offerings, including compliance mandates and other market dynamics Positively interact with partner vendors to understand product details, value proposition, and opportunities to sell avionics productsPerform other duties as directedQualifications & Job RequirementsMinimum five (5) years’ experience in aviation services sales or management preferredMaintenance, repair, and/or overhaul background with corporate aircraft focus preferredMust possess a working knowledge of business aviation maintenance, manufacturers, and marketplaceProficiency, or ability to comprehensively learn, CRM software, such as SalesForce.comStrong proficiency with MS Office including creation of spreadsheets, quotes, databases, and reports in Excel & WordExperience utilizing Corridor to build and edit quotesExperience interpreting Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, and other technical directivesEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Business or aviation related study strongly preferred or four years equivalent working experience in the general aviation industryAirframe & Powerplant Certifications preferredOther PrerequisitesMust be based in the metro Boise, Idaho areaPass pre-employment drug screen and background checkAbility to obtain Airport Issued security badgeValid Driver’s LicenseWork Environment & Physical RequirementsWork is performed primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. Constantly requires repetitive movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
